SMS Messaging Program and Opt-In Policy
Last Updated: August 11, 2026
EasyCustomerFeedback is a customer support platform. Businesses that use our platform can enable a dedicated phone number so their own customers can reach their support team by text message. This page explains how that messaging program works, how consent is obtained, and how to stop receiving messages at any time.
1. How you opt in
All messaging on EasyCustomerFeedback is two-way conversational customer support that you start by text message. We never send marketing or promotional text messages, and no business using our platform can text you through us unless you texted its support number first.
- You text first. You opt in by sending a text message to the support number a business publishes — on its website, in its email signature, on a receipt or invoice, or in its help center. Sending that first message is your consent to receive replies from that business's support team at the mobile number you texted from.
- A support agent replies. Your message opens a conversation in that business's support dashboard, and a person on their team replies to you. Replies are only ever sent inside a conversation you started; our system cannot originate a message to a number that has not texted in.
2. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends entirely on your conversation. You will generally receive one message for each reply from the support team, and you will receive no messages at all unless you have an open conversation.
3. Cost
EasyCustomerFeedback does not charge you to send or receive these messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
4. How to opt out or get help
- To opt out: Reply STOP to any message from the number. You will receive one confirmation and then no further messages from that number. UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work the same way.
- To opt back in: Reply START or UNSTOP to the same number. Other messages will not opt you back in.
- For help: Reply HELP to any message for support contact information, or email [email protected].
STOP, START, and HELP are handled automatically by our telephony provider on every number, so an opt-out takes effect immediately and cannot be overridden by a business using our platform.
5. Your mobile information
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Your number and message content are used only to deliver the conversation you started with the business you contacted, and are processed on our behalf by our telephony provider, Twilio Inc.
6. For businesses using EasyCustomerFeedback
If you enable a phone number for your project, you are the sender of record for those messages and are responsible for complying with the TCPA and the CTIA messaging principles. Publish your support number together with the following disclosure wherever you invite customers to text you:
Text us at [your support number] for customer support. By texting us, you agree to receive text messages from [Business Name] at the mobile number you send from. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
You must honor opt-out requests, must never use these numbers for marketing or promotional messages, and must not text anyone who has not texted your support number first.
